Evolving@home is our module developed during the Covid-19 pandemic to make yEvo experiments safe and accessible to instructors and students in their homes. We use store-bought yeast and non-toxic chemicals so that these experiments can be carried out beyond the lab.

This project is ongoing. It was designed by Bryce Taylor and piloted by Ryan Skophammer at Westridge School and by members of the Department of Genome Sciences at the University of Washington.
